Vacuum packing works by drawing the air out of the pouch so the film clings to the contents, cutting off both oxygen and moisture and slowing oxidation and microbial growth — noticeably more effective for fresh, cooked and dried foods than an ordinary sealed bag. This vacuum food pouch uses a laminate compatible with vacuum equipment: the body resists ballooning and leaking during evacuation, the seal line is firm, and once the air is out the pouch lies flat against the contents, taking up little space when stacked, in both chiller and freezer. The format can be three-side seal or gusseted stand-up depending on the contents, and the film can be clear, metallised or multi-layer high barrier — clear for easy identification, metallised where a longer storage life is needed. Size and seal width are customisable.
