This valve bag is a core format within bag-in-box (BIB) packaging. The pouch body uses four-side-seal or pillow-seal edges, and the top is fitted with dual screw-cap valves that connect separately to filling equipment and dispensing outlets. The valves are heat-sealed firmly to the film for reliable sealing, so liquid can be drawn directly once the cap is opened, limiting air return. It suits large-volume liquids that are stored and dispensed in portions, and is commonly paired with a carton or drum as a bag-in-box system.
Typical structures include PET/AL/PE, PET/VMPET/PE and PA/PE laminates. The barrier layer and film thickness can be selected according to the contents, balancing oxygen and light resistance with drop strength. Surfaces accept 1-8 colour gravure printing with stable tone and colour control, so brand marks, flavour coding and usage notes can all be printed. Capacities run from 100ml to 20L, with 1L, 3L and 5L as common sizes; bag style, valve diameter and dispensing method can be tailored.
These bags are widely used for coffee concentrate, fresh juice, slush syrup, sugar syrup, dairy and other liquid seasonings, as well as portioning in food processing plants and central kitchens of restaurant chains. Customisation is straightforward: send a sample bag or artwork, confirm material, capacity, printing and valve specification, then approve a sample before mass production. Our factory in Dongguan, Guangdong runs a Class 10000 clean workshop, with an MOQ of 10,000 pcs, sample- and drawing-based customisation, and matching roll film on request.
