This dual-gusset liquid pouch is used for edible oil and liquid seasoning where the pouch is filled once and drawn from repeatedly. A butterfly valve in the top panel controls the pour: the valve opens smoothly and closes firmly, so the contents can be dispensed without removing a cap and without the dribble that comes from a plain opening.
The dual-gusset base lets the filled pouch stand on its own, and the laminate gives the body enough strength to take handling during transport and storage. The film combines a print layer, a barrier layer for light and oxygen, and an inner heat-seal layer that seals around the valve seat. Capacity around 5 L is the usual format, with the valve position, seat size and pouch dimensions made to your filling and dispensing equipment.
