Bag-in-box is already an established format in the wine trade. Contact with air is the main cause of oxidation, and wine held in a soft bag shrinks with the falling liquid level after dispensing, leaving almost no headspace, so flavour stays stable considerably longer after opening than in glass — which suits restaurants selling by the glass and households drinking day to day. This 5L wine BIB pairs a wine-red carton with a foil-laminate inner bag and a red valve outlet for light protection, oxygen barrier and easy pouring. The carton has a die-cut carry feature for handling and display: keep the valve down and the wine is available at any time without moving the whole box. Carton printing can be customised to your brand, and inner bag capacity, film structure and valve diameter are all selectable, covering the usual 3L to 5L range.
